Gerdenis Kodis is an assistant research professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Physics Center for Biological Physics, the School of Molecular Sciences Center for Bio-Inspired Solar Fuel Production, and the Biodesign Institute Center for Applied Structural Discovery at the Arizona State University (ASU). His research interests span the fields of artificial photosynthesis, molecular photonics and biophysics.
He graduated from Vilnius University and received his Sc.D. in physics from the Institute of Physics in Lithuania. While as the research fellow at the Institute of Physics, Gerdenis was involved in the laser physics and ultrafast laser spectroscopy of molecular materials. He founded the photonics products brokerage company Magic Photonics LLC.
