Long Bio
Professor Sabey joined the W. P. Carey School of Business Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in 2022. His research investigates social hierarchies and prosocial behaviors, with a particular interest in when and why power is used for good. He was a finalist for the Alvah Chapman Jr. Outstanding Dissertation Award. His work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Academy of Management Review.
Before joining W. P. Carey as an assistant professor, Sabey was an assistant professor of management at Texas A&M University.
Professor Sabey loves spending his time with this three boys and wonderful wife. He is an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, along with all Colorado professional sports.
