Dean Batson is an educator with a knack for making communication exciting. Splitting his time between Arizona State University and Phoenix College, Dean teaches everything from public speaking, small group communication, and consumerism to the impact of AI on how we connect. Before stepping into the classroom, he spent years in the corporate world, leading marketing and communication teams to success. Now, he brings that real-world experience into his courses, helping students gain the skills they need to shine in their future careers. When he's not teaching, you can find Dean out on the trails with his mountain bike or plotting his next overlanding adventure. He’s all about blending curiosity with communication—and making sure his students have fun while learning.
