Long Bio
Catherine Thart is a Purchasing Manager in the ASU Procurment department overseeing all IT related purchases for the University. Shemanages a team of five purchasing professionals that facilitates all levels of purchasing such commodities as software, Saas Products, IT hardware, and data.
Before arriving at ASU in January 2015, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 10+ years in Chicago, Il. She has always had the pleasure of leading/ managing/ mentoring and coaching teams that provided great value to their institutions.
Catherine enjoys the outdoors in this beautiful state of Arizona all year round and that is the primary reason she left the cold winters of Chicago.
