Nathan Cushing is a communications specialist with Business and Finance Support Services.
He has worked at ASU for 10 years, first as a senior coordinator with University Academic Success Programs. He trained, mentored and managed undergraduate and graduate tutors at the Downtown Phoenix campus Writing Center.
During that time, he helped develop and lead the Success in Graduate Writing Camp, a unique week-long curriculum for incoming grads to prepare them for graduate-level research and writing.
Since 2015, he has been a communications specialist for Business and Finance. He manages, writes and edits strategic communications, including:
- Brochures.
- Emails.
- Annual reports.
- Signage.
- Web content.
Most recently, he served as the communications lead for the ASU Workday project.
Nathan has a bachelor's and master's degree in English from Virginia Commonwealth University.
