Ian Douglas has a highly interdisciplinary background and has taught in 10 different countries on three continents working for departments of psychology, computer science, information technology, education, pharmacy practice, industrial engineering, and library science. He is primarily interested in systems design, particularly educational systems design – how we integrate people, processes, and technology to optimize educational outcomes. This touches on a number of technology-related issues including user experience design and knowledge management.
