Kate Hoffner is a clinical assistant professor in the Teachers College at ASU. She works with graduate and undergraduate pre-service teachers focusing on secondary science methods education. In this role, she has been instrumental in guiding pre-service teachers in developing innovative and engaging learning experiences for their future students. She embarked on her career in education as a high school science teacher, where she fostered students' natural curiosity about the world. Her dedication to student development extended beyond the classroom as she served several years as a high school counselor. For the past 12 years, Kate has contributed her expertise to the Teachers College at Arizona State University, both as a part-time and full-time instructor.
