Long Bio
Dr. Thompson is a stable isotope geochemist with a special interest in ancient marine environments. Her current research focuses on using the boron-isotope sytem to constrain changes in seawater pH during the end-Ordovician mass extinction. She is also a professor of geology, planetary science, astronomy, and environmental science.
