Teddy D. Gonzalez is an attorney licensed to practice in Washington, D.C., and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree with a focus on environmental and sustainability law at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Teddy also serves as a Fellow for the College of Law’s Clinical Programs, where they manage student onboarding, course registration, and case management for 10 clinical programs.
Teddy holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Certificate in Law & Sustainability from ASU. With a passion for animal and environmental law, her academic journey has included specialized coursework in water, biodiversity, and sustainability law. Teddy’s dedication to research and scholarship led to her co-authorship of the article “In the Dark: The Scapegoating of Renewables After Grid Failures,” published in the Natural Resources Journal at the University of New Mexico School of Law.
During law school, Teddy gained hands-on experience as a Civil Litigation Clinic Fellow and a law clerk, developing strong skills in legal research, writing, and advocacy. Her dedication to public service earned her the highest pro bono distinction and a Dean’s Award.
