David C. Burris is an experienced teacher and writer. Since 2016, he has served as a faculty associate at Arizona State University, having mainly taught BIS 345 Organizational Ethics as a part of the bachelor's in interdisciplinary studies program.
In addition to his appointment at ASU, since 2010 he has been a full-time professor of both philosophy and religious studies at Arizona Western College (AWC) in Yuma, Arizona. At AWC, he teaches a variety of courses including: introduction to ethics, ancient philosophy, world religions, social and political philosophy, among others. His main areas of academic interest and scholarly research tend to focus on issues in the philosophy of religion, political theory, and applied ethics. He is married to his wife Sarah, and they have three children.
