As an artist and educator, Anne Kotleba, is arming people with the tools and courage to define their own identity and build a more just world. Her passion for community organizing was forged in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and strengthened on the streets of East Baltimore. Anne has facilitated community-centered projects locally and abroad unleashing the power of art for action and economic development.
Anne is an Associate Teaching Professor at Arizona State University and the Program Lead for Undergraduate Curricula in the Nonprofit Leadership and Management program. She is the Campus Director for the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance at ASU.
Anne graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, has an MA and MFA in Community Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and a Master of Legal Studies degree from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. She is a proud AmeriCorps Alum, former Colorado State Park Ranger, and youth basketball coach.
