Alexis D. Faison, PhD is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Counseling and Counseling Psychology. She obtained a Ph.D. degree in Counseling Psychology in 2024 and a Master of Counseling degree in 2019 from Arizona State University, and completed an APA-accredited internship at Arizona State University-Counseling Services in 2024.
Dr. Faison’s research has examined complex relationships between different determinants of health among Black and Latinx populations. She defended her dissertation entitled Afro-Latinx Health Disparities during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Further, Dr. Faison has complimented her research with BIPOC student populations through service and leadership at ASU.
