Paul Espinoza is a doctoral student in Family & Human Development at Arizona State University entering his final year of the PhD program. He earned his B.S. in Sociology from ASU with minors in Family & Human Development and Chinese, and later completed his M.S. in Family & Human Development at ASU.
His research focuses on the transition from adolescence into young adulthood, particularly how educational, occupational, and developmental experiences between ages 18–26 shape health, wellbeing, and life outcomes in adulthood. His work primarily utilizes large longitudinal datasets, including Monitoring the Future (MTF), and emphasizes advanced quantitative and longitudinal statistical methods.
In addition to his academic work, Paul is passionate about teaching, mentorship, and creating supportive learning environments that encourage both intellectual and personal growth.
