Long Bio
I am originally from Myanmar and have lived in Arizona for over 20 years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Arizona. My professional background spans language instruction, health and educational administration, and higher education reform.
I have worked on several federal and private foundation grants, including those funded by USAID, with a focus on education, and development initiatives. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD with research interests in biometric identities, state-sponsored surveillance, and forms of quiet resistance in Myanmar. I am also deeply engaged in exploring decolonial and alternative frameworks for understanding development.
