Sade Moore is a Windgate Curatorial Fellow born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She holds a Master's degree in art history from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History with a minor in Business Administration from Portland State University. Before working at the ASU Art Museum, Sade was a Curatorial Assistant at CALA Alliance. This Arizona-based nonprofit organization collaborates with artists and arts organizations to nurture artistic talent, with a focus on artists from the Latin American diaspora. Her art-historical focus is on transcultural relationships in the modern era, particularly between Asian and Latin American arts and cultures. Sade’s curatorial practice prioritizes the ASU Art Museum’s mission to center art and artists in service of community well-being and social good. Her first solo exhibition, which opened in 2025, focused on the ASU Art Museum’s vast collection of Japanese ceramics and works by artists associated with the Mingei Movement.
