Tatiana Walsh

Tatiana Walsh serves as the program chair for the Information Technology Program in the Polytechnic School in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University.   

Designated Faculty for Grand Challenges Scholars Program

Her research focuses on the role of adaptive expertise to design innovative systems, and building a community of practice that values collaboration and an entrepreneurial mindset. 

She brings extensive experience in student learning, curriculum development, mentorship, and corporate practice to the classroom in cybersecurity management, security assurance, systems analysis and design.  Prior to joining ASU, she taught at various universities and was senior leader at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and American Express. 

She  received her doctorate in Educational Leadership in Technology which underlines the instructional development and design in eLearning technologies to address innovative and interdisciplinary communication and collaboration. 

Member of Women in Technology International, ISACA, ASEE - American Society for Engineering Education, National Association of Women MBAs, Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises, and  Epsilon Pi Tau International Honor Society for Professions in Technology.
