Angelique Soenarie Blair is a senior project manager for the Organizational Performance Office of Business and Finance Support Services, where she leads complex human resources and enterprise initiatives focused on organizational change management, project delivery, business process improvement and workforce readiness.
During her career at ASU, Soenarie Blair has helped to execute large-scale initiatives, including the university's Workday Human Capital Management implementation, where she served as an organizational change management project manager and readiness lead. Her work has focused on project governance, stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, communications, training support, risk management and adoption planning across diverse stakeholders and business units.
Soenarie Blair uses emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve business processes, increase organizational efficiency, enhance employee experiences and support data-informed decision-making. She supports the use of AI to strengthen project management practices, streamline operations, and enable organizations to work more effectively.
Before transitioning into project management, she worked in communications and journalism as a communications specialist, senior editor, reporter and digital content producer. Her background in communications and journalism continues to influence her leadership approach today. The skills she developed, including interviewing stakeholders, uncovering root causes, gathering information, analyzing complex issues, and translating technical concepts into clear and actionable messages, enable her to build strong relationships, facilitate productive conversations and drive successful project outcomes.
