Jessica Gentes

I am a Registered Nurse who has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership with an emphasis in healthcare systems from Grand Canyon University. My nursing background encompasses pediatrics, neonatal, endoscopy, outpatient and inpatient perianesthesia care. Through my nursing experience, dedication to patient excellence, and employee development I transitioned my career into nursing leadership and education. Currently I work as an Clinical Assistant Professor with a leadership role of Associate Director of Experiential and Simulation Learning at the Grace Center in the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. I hold a certification in pediatric nursing and healthcare simulation. I am involved in several professional organizations, such as the American Nurses Association, American Society of Perianesthesia Nursing, and the Arizona Society of Perianesthesia Nursing (AzPANA). Presently, I reside on the Board of Directions as President for AzPANA.
