Shari is in her sixth year in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. Shari started out in the role of University Supervisor in the Secondary Student Teaching Pilot program at ASU. Currently, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Student Teacher Supervisor. Shari has over 20 years of administrative experience as an Assistant Principal and Dean of Students and 10 years of classroom teaching experience at the secondary level. She also has been an instructor in the Alternative Licensure Program at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Here she coached and taught current teachers in the field while they completed the requirements to earn a Colorado Teaching License. Her continued goal is to develop future teachers to have strong instructional practices, well-managed classrooms, and the skills to use data to inform and plan for student learning.
