Ana Silvia Cervantes es una académica mexicana que centra sus estudios de investigación en los temas de la mujer latinoamericana e hispanoamericana, representaciones de género en el arte, la cultura y la literatura y estudios de archivo. Recientemente, ha publicado un artículo sobre la violencia contra las mujeres y su representación en la literatura en el articulo “Violencia sexual y resistencia: Un análisis de la obra de María Fernanda Ampuero.” (2023). En él se estudia el imaginario latinoamericano y el uso del biopoder como medida de opresión a la mujer y la resistencia a través de la literatura.
Actualmente, Ana Silvia Cervantes se encuentra completando sus estudios de doctorado en la Universidad Estatal de Arizona.
