Born and raised in Indiana Beth earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication with a Minor in Architecture from Ball State University. After completing undergraduate school Beth moved to the Phoenix Metro. Since making Arizona her home, She has done public relations graphic design for international PR firms and spent over five years creating experiential graphic design at an sigange and branding design/build firm. During Beth’s career, she has specialized in developing wayfinding systems for complex multi-use buildings, campuses, and infographic design.
Beth’s love of developing wayfinding systems and complex problem-solving inspired her to go back to school for her Masters of Science in Design at Arizona State University where her thesis is about developing wayfinding solutions for navigators with low-to-no vision. Beth currently teaches as part of The Design School’s Graphic Design program and focuses on teaching graphic design principles, software, and typography.
