Long Bio
Prince Kwarase is a scholar of practice who fosters future-driven innovation through his transdisciplinary expertise in the areas of international development, education, sustainable business development, and evaluation. With experience in industry and academia, Prince’s expertise spans the full spectrum of inquiry–from theory to application. He brings a fresh and thorough understanding of the intricate dynamics of organizational and business success, sustainable strategy, and the drivers of innovation for maximal impact.
For over a decade, Prince has worked with diverse communities through innovations that strategically cultivate valuable local knowledge and assets while pairing them with new resources and technologies. These projects include start-ups to bridge underrepresented students to educational opportunities and mitigate student drop-out and multi-million dollar fundraising to tackle issues of equity and climate stewardship.
Prince’s most recent work explores the role and value of technological innovations within post-secondary education in preparing the youth of sub-Saharan Africa (who will make up more than 25% of the world’s population by 2050) for the global future. New innovations such as e-learning and augmented intelligence have the capacity to not only transform education but also mitigate long-standing inequities in educational access to promote cross-contextual thriving for all.
Currently, Prince is a PhD student at the Arizona State University Mary Lou Fulton Teacher’s College studying Educational Policy and Evaluation. He is a recipient of several competitive fellowships and scholarships, such as the Royal Commonwealth Society Fellowship, Ashesi University Presidential Award, and Mastercard Foundation Scholarship.
