Prince Kwarase is a researcher, strategist, and education innovator whose work bridges artificial intelligence, education policy, higher education transformation, and innovation in learning systems. His research explores how emerging technologies can advance equitable learning futures—particularly across regions undergoing rapid digital transformation. By integrating theory, policy, and applied evaluation, he brings a unique lens to understanding how communities, institutions, and individuals adopt and adapt to new technologies—and how these shifts shape learning, work, and human futures.
With over a decade of cross-sector experience in international development, Prince has designed and led initiatives that connect local knowledge with global innovations. His work includes projects that address educational access and student retention in universities in West Africa, advancing sustainability and climate initiatives, and business development and institutional fundraising in the United States—efforts that have generated millions of dollars for various programs.
Currently, Prince is a Ph.D. Candidate at Arizona State University, where his doctoral research examines AI adoption and learning transformation in higher education across the Global South, focusing on how AI systems shape agency, learning cultures, and institutional practice. His work situates AI not only as a technological innovation, but as a socio-cultural and educational phenomenon that redefines how young people and institutions prepare for the future of learning and work.
Prince is a recipient of several competitive fellowships and scholarships, including the Royal Commonwealth Society Fellowship, and the Ashesi University's Presidential Award for Scholarship, Leadership, and Citizenship. He is committed to leveraging innovation, technology, policy, and evidence to reimagine learning ecosystems that are inclusive, adaptive, and future-oriented.
