Long Bio
Skylar Grayson is a 3rd year Astrophysics PhD candidate and National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. She is currently studying the role active galactic nuclei feedback plays in galaxy evolution with her advisor, Dr. Evan Scannapieco. Additionally, Grayson works in the field of Astronomy Education Research with Dr. Molly Simon, studying the implementation of online research courses and massive open online courses at ASU and beyond. She is also very active on social media as a science communicator, with over 150,000 followers across several platforms. When not researching or talking about astronomy, Grayson can be found playing the drums and guitar, hiking, crocheting, and watching The Office for the hundredth time.
