Teri Taylor

Dr. Taylor is an Assistant Teaching Professor and Program Director for the Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Health Promotion. She teaches undergraduate courses in Medical Studies and Health Sciences, leveraging her expertise in public health. She holds both master’s and doctoral degrees in Public Health and is a Certified Health Education Specialist, reflecting her commitment to advancing health education and practice.

Previously, Dr. Taylor taught in the Master of Public Health program at the University of Arizona Global Campus, where she focused on topics such as public health, environmental health, epidemiology, and the social and biological determinants of health. In addition to her academic work, she has experience in research, program evaluation, and public health leadership.

She worked as an administrator for the Chronic Kidney Disease Program at the University of California, San Diego, where she evaluated patient health outcomes, managed the Joint Commission accreditation process, and contributed to quality improvement initiatives. Her diverse background highlights her dedication to improving public health education, research, and practice.
