I'm currently working on infrastructure resilience to major climate events (mostly fire, flooding, and post-fire debris flow). My most recent projects have focused on 1) outlining risks to urban areas based on their infrastructure dependencies on hinterland infrastructure assets, and 2) delineating how AI supports or hinders decision-making in electricity infrastructure systems.
My previous work includes risk analysis of sustainable materials, stakeholder engagement on issues of nanomaterials and genetic engineering used in foods, and research on decision-making (from a philosophical standpoint and in terms of materials science researchers make decisions).
