Savannah is a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology. Broadly, her research examines the effect of gene-environment interplay on the development of psychopathology, as well as resilience following early life stress. In particular, Savannah is interested in how environmental factors, such as parent-child interactions and early life stress, and individual factors, such as emotion regulation and self-compassion, can influence the development of psychopathology within the context of genetic risk. She is also interested in the role of epigenetic mechanisms underlying the development of psychopathology.
