Long Bio
Ben grew up in Washington state and attended the University of Colorado Boulder for his undergraduate degree in Astrophysics (2022). He is a planetary geologist and astrophysicist working under Jim Bell (primary/planetary geology) and Jenny Patience (secondary/astrophysics). He studies impact craters and uses them as a tool to study planetary surfaces/subsurfaces and ices. He works as a Science Payload Downlink Lead on the Perseverance/Mars 2020 Rover on Mars. He also studies direct images of star-brown dwarf binary systems
