Long Bio

Selena (Sungeun) Han is a Ph.D. Candidate in Information Systems at Arizona State University. Her research investigates how emerging digital technologies, such as blockchain-based markets, immersive virtual platforms, and generative AI, shape market outcomes, human behavior, and social well-being. Methodologically, she combines experimental and econometric methods to uncover the behavioral and economic mechanisms underlying technology-mediated interactions and decision-making. Her research has been presented at leading academic conferences and workshops, including ICIS, CIST, AMCIS, INFORMS Annual Meetings, ISMS, CSWIM, the MISQ Virtual Author Development Workshop, and Kr-AIS Workshops.
