Eduardo Ramos is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in English from Penn State University and an M.A. in Medieval Icelandic Studies from the University of Iceland. He specializes in medieval English and Icelandic literature with a focus on cross-cultural contact and depictions of race as well as medievalism and appropriations of the past. His work has appeared in Literature Compass, postmedieval: a journal of medieval cultural studies, Comitatus: A Journal of Medieval and Renaissance Studies, and What is North?: Imagining the North from Ancient Times to the Present Day.
