Long Bio
Eduardo Ramos is an assistant professor of literature. He holds a PhD in English from Penn State University and an MA in Medieval Icelandic studies from the University of Iceland. He specializes in medieval English and Icelandic literature with a focus on cross-cultural contact and depictions of race as well as medievalism and appropriations of the past. His work has appeared in Speculum, Literature Compass, postmedieval: a journal of medieval cultural studies, Comitatus: A Journal of Medieval and Renaissance Studies, and What is North?: Imagining the North from Ancient Times to the Present Day.
