Abhishek Saji Kumar is a Ph.D. student specializing in 3D printing technologies, with a particular focus on direct ink writing (DIW)—an extrusion-based additive manufacturing technique adept at fabricating intricate structures from viscous materials. His research centers on the development of smart and thermoresponsive polymers, aiming to engineer materials that are both easily fabricatable and commercially viable. With a solid foundation in nanoparticle synthesis and polymer engineering, Abhishek operates at the intersection of material science and advanced fabrication methodologies.
Currently, he is working under the guidance of Dr. Sui to integrate 3D printing with laser patterning techniques, striving to achieve high-precision microstructure materials for diverse applications.
