Angela Stephens serves as a Front End Web Developer in the Marketing department at ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, where she brings a wealth of experience in web design, photo editing, project management, search engine optimization techniques and front end development. Angela has a particular passion for pixel perfect web styling, quality assurance reviews and all other detail-focused tasks in web development.
Before joining ASU, Angela gained experience in the health and wellness industry, working for various entrepreneurs, including a prominent e-commerce leader in the direct-to-consumer nutritional supplements arena. This prior experience allowed her to enhance her technical skills while maintaining a marketing perspective and a strong sense of urgency in project completion.
In her previous roles, she focused on A/B split testing for sales-driven landing pages, as well as photo touch-up work, bug fixing, troubleshooting, and the creation and building (hand coding) of responsive web pages. With several years of experience managing web projects in an agile software development environment and many years of experience in web design and development, she has honed her skills in delivering high-quality web solutions.
Angela is eager to continue expanding her knowledge in Drupal and all aspects of web development and is always seeking out new challenges to further develop her expertise.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys collecting cacti and succulents as a hobby and is actively involved in the Central Arizona Cactus and Succulent Society. Angela is an avid hiker and mountain biker, and annually participates in the Phoenix Summit Challenge with her family.
