Sarah Stage is a professor in the School of Humanities, Arts and Cultural Studies in New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University. Stage is a pioneer in women and gender studies. She authored "Female Complaints," co-edited "Rethinking Home Economics" and "The Moral Panics of Sexuality," and writes for the best-selling textbook "The American Promise." She is a member of the Western Association of Women's Historians, past president, member of the board and head of prize committee (1980 - present).
