Laura Lamond

Laura Lamond MSN, FNP-C, RN, CPEN is a Faculty Associate for Edison College of Nursing and Health Innovation in the PreLicensure program at Arizona State University. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2014, as well as her Masters in Science of Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) in 2019 through Grand Canyon University (GCU). Laura earned her Associates in Applied Science in Nursing in 2012 through Gateway Community College (GWCC). 

Since obtaining her registered nurse (RN) license in 2012, Laura continues to work as a clinical nurse at Phoenix Children's Hospital (PCH) in the Level 1 Trauma Center and Emergency Department. She obtained her Board certification as a Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) in 2014 to validate her nursing specialty knowledge, skills, and clinical judgement. By being Board certified, Laura stays on top of the latest advances and best practices, so she can deliver the safest, most efficient and highest quality care possible. Laura also has experience in Adult Pain Management where she was in the role of a Nurse Practitioner from 2019-2021 before returning back to the bedside as a CPEN to help with the nursing shortage.

Laura looks forward to sharing her knowledge with the next generation of nurses and giving back to this amazing field of practice!
