Anthony M. Avellino, MD, MBA, is currently the Chief Medical Officer of HonorHealth Medical Group-Specialty Division and the Associate Dean for Clinical Faculty Affairs, Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences, and Professor of Medicine at the Arizona State University John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering. He is a former NCAA student-athlete at Cornell University. He completed his medical education at Columbia University, his neurosurgery residency at the University of Washington, including a year as a specialist registrar at Atkinson Morley’s Hospital in Wimbledon, England, and a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
