Long Bio
Binoli is a first year doctoral student at the Population Health PhD program, College of Health Solutions. She is an international student from Sri Lanka. She has completed her Bachelor's in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She has working experience as both teaching and a research assistants. She has been part of epidemiological research projects led by the Institute for Research and Development in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Kings College London during her time in Sri Lanka. Currently, she works with Dr. Mindy McEntee's lab assisting a Community Health worker Training Program and also conducts research on weight stigma and health behaviours. Her research interests are towards epidemiology, public health and health equity.
