Jaden Evanson graduated from the University of Lethbridge in Canada at the end of 2014. He then began his career in public accounting, working at various firms before starting his own practice in 2018. In 2021, Jaden merged his firm with Volution LLP, where he worked as one of the Partners and as a tax specialist. In 2022, Jaden worked as a CFO for Torange Construction to assist them with multiple acquisitions and a software overhaul. Jaden then obtained his MBA at Utah Valley University in 2023 and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Accounting.
Additionally, Jaden has taught as a sessional instructor at the University of Lethbridge, currently teaches Canadian CPA candidates on their way to obtain their designation through the CPA Professional Education Program, has been a part owner in numerous small start-ups, and served as a board member of a non-profit.
Jaden's research interests are centered around tax laws and tax litigation. He is exploring how tax court outcomes affect firms' decisions and behavior, as well as how to predict those outcomes. His research involves the use of LLM AI models to help understand and parse complicated legal opinions into usable data for research purposes.
