Widline Luctama, EdD, is an innovative thinker, creative writer, thought leader, and speaker in the project management space. Dr. Luctama leads a portfolio of technical and process improvement projects in the Operations Project Management Office, Knowledge Enterprise, to effectively administer research at ASU. She brings a diverse and robust portfolio of project management experience, having navigated the complex waters of administrative functions and organizational leadership for several years. In addition, she teaches an Introduction to Project Management course at CISA's School of Applied Professional Studies.
Dr. Luctama has previously held positions at Albertsons/Safeway and notable not-for-profit organizations and businesses in the northeast region. Her journey through the intricate gears of corporate structures has honed her expertise in effective project coordination, team management, and strategic planning and has also ingrained in her the importance of adaptability and communication in driving projects to success.
Her research examines the user-centric model and leadership decision framework for implementing Human Capital Management (HCM) to support Human Resource teams. She is an expert in preparing and delivering impactful presentations and speaking on project management principles, most recently at the Arizona PM Summit. She is a certified project manager professional (PMP) and holds a SHRM-CP certification.
Dr. Luctama has a bachelor's degree in Diplomacy and International Relations and a Master's in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University. She received a doctorate of education in Organizational Leadership Studies from Northeastern University. She is currently a PMBOK team member at the ASU PM Network and a member of the Phoenix PMI Chapter. She is committed to strategic collaboration, a relentless pursuit of excellence, and empowering the next generation of leaders to thrive.
