Roshini Moodley Naidoo

Dr. Roshini Moodley Naidoo is a physician and Professor of Practice at the College of Health Solutions. Dr. Naidoo served for two years as a Senior Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School. She is a global health care executive and experienced practitioner with expertise in health care financing, risk management, population health management, value-based payment systems, and health care digitalization.

During her decade-long executive tenure at a publicly listed global health care administrator, Dr. Naidoo oversaw the financial performance of 19 health plans and led major initiatives involving the use of real-time data to improve efficiency, digital innovation to improve outcomes for patients with chronic conditions, and risk-sharing funding models to strengthen organizational performance. She also served as a Fellow with the Leapfrog Group, where she examined the high-reliability performance of large hospital systems in relation to patient safety.

As a Harvard Business School Service Leadership Fellow, Dr. Naidoo led a unique multi-country social and economic impact study for Oxfam America in partnership with The Coca-Cola Company and SABMiller, which was profiled by the UN Global Compact.

Dr. Naidoo’s research encompasses value-based care financing instruments, the integration of big data predictive models into operational workflows, and patient experience and patient-reported outcomes. She earned her MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and her MBA from Harvard Business School, where she received second-year honors. Dr. Naidoo also served as a Board Director and Chair of the Finance and Administration Committee for a global nonprofit public health research organization.
