Dr. Roshini Moodley Naidoo is a physician and Professor of Practice at the College of Health Solutions. Dr. Moodley Naidoo served for two years as a Senior Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School. She is a global health care executive and experienced practitioner with expertise in health care financing, risk management, population health management, value-based payment systems, and health care digitalization.
Dr. Moodley Naidoo has led several transformative health care industry initiatives involving the use of real-time data to support workplace decision-making, innovative funding models to manage risk, and new digital technologies to create value within health care systems. She has worked as a clinician in hospitals in Africa and Europe. Dr. Moodley Naidoo also served as a Fellow with the Leapfrog Group, a global leader in patient safety through measurement and public reporting of care outcomes.
Dr. Moodley Naidoo participates in an international thought leadership forum of experts from leading health care organizations focused on transforming health care through Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROMs) methods and tools. As a Harvard Business School Service Leadership Fellow, she led a unique social and economic impact study for Oxfam America in partnership with The Coca-Cola Company and SABMiller, which was profiled by the UN Global Compact.
Dr. Moodley Naidoo’s research includes patient experience and patient-reported outcomes, value-based care financing instruments, and the use of big data predictive models within operational workflows. She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, where she achieved second-year honors. Dr. Moodley Naidoo also served as a Board Director and Chair of the Finance and Administration Committee of a global nonprofit public health research organization.
