Long Bio
I am currently pursuing a career in computational biology, a field that combines my passion for both biology and technology, while working as a software developer. I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, which provided me with a strong foundation in software development, data analysis, and problem-solving. My journey into the realm of biology began during my time serving in the military as a medic, where I gained hands-on experience in healthcare, patient care, and laboratory work. During the pandemic, I cross-trained as a pharmacy and laboratory technician, earning an Army Commendation Medal for my service.
After my military service, I worked as a research coordinator at a hospital in Washington, where I honed my skills in managing research projects and processing laboratory data. This role deepened my interest in medical research and biological sciences, inspiring me to further my education in the field. Now, while advancing my studies in Biological Sciences and Computational Biology, I apply my technical expertise as a software developer, continuing to bridge the gap between biology and technology.
