Nadia is a doctoral student at the Justice and Social Inquiry, School of Social Transformation, Arizona State University (ASU). She has a master’s in Social Sciences with a focus in Education from FLACSO, Argentina. Nadia is a member of the Laboratory of Education, Social Pedagogy and Prisons of the University of Guadalajara. She was a Professor and Professional Application Projects (PAP) coordinator at the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESO) from 2020 to 2023. Invited researcher in the project Prisons and neighborhoods in circuit: socio-spatial continuum, penal selectivity and territorial concentration of the prison experience from the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina. Coordinator of the Prison Higher Education program at the University of Utah from 2022 -2023. Certified facilitator of the Inside Out Prison Exchange Program. Member of the Study Group on Education in Prisons (GESEC) of La Plata, Argentina. She participated in the CLACSO study group Neighborhoods, families and prisons in circuit. She is also a member of the Prison Studies Network (REEC) from El Colegio de Michoacán. Co-founder of the Prison Education National Network in Mexico (RECEPEM) and co-coodinator of the network from 2020 to 2024.
