Hey, I'm Cameron, and I want to help people succeed in their personal and professional lives! With over 6 years of expertise in user experience (UX) and design thinking, I have primarily accomplished this goal by improving the usability of websites, software, and physical spaces that fulfill a variety of use cases.
I am interested in developing simple, pleasant experiences for users. Whether through writing straightforward web content, designing versatile spaces, or delivering in-depth training sessions, I will do what it takes to help people overcome their profession's challenges! I greatly enjoy conversing with people to learn about their needs, desires, frustrations, and satisfaction with a given system. As a Collaborative Learning Specialist at ASU, I am responsible for designing innovative learning spaces that support collaboration. I also support faculty development with workshops and training sessions about using active learning strategies in their courses.
For fun, I enjoy just about any intellectually stimulating activity, such as analyzing everything and having meaningful interactions with people. Some of my hobbies are landscape photography, hiking, composing music, and playing video games with friends. According to the Clifton Strengths Finder test, my top five strengths are intellection, adaptability, connectedness, input, and belief. I am an Enneagram type 1, wing 9.
