Wonsok (Frank) Jee is a Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing at the W.P. Carey School of Business. Before joining ASU, he was as an Assistant Professor at Western Carolina University and St. Joseph's University.
Dr. Jee's research focuses on behavioral economic theory and application of quasi-experimental methods to investigate cognitive and emotional biases in consumer decision-making, particularly in online advance ticket booking within the travel, event, and sport industry. His work has been published in Journal of Sports Economics, Tourism Management, and has been presented at North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) and the Sport Marketing Association (SMA) conferences.
Frank has also worked as a Foreign Direct Investment consultant for KOTRA (Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and as a marketing research analyst at Phocuswright. Over the years, he has contributed to producing economic impact studies on the socioeconomic effects of sporting events for host communities, feasibility reports for sport and entertainment development project proposals, and conducted travel market size estimation and consumer spotlight reports on spending and behavioral patterns of event participants.
