Long Bio
Jennifer Boney joined ASU in 2007 as an instructor, and is now an Associate Teaching Professor for the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. Prior to teaching at ASU, she taught math in Michigan and Arizona at the high school level. While teaching at ASU, Jennifer has been involved in multiple projects regarding improvement of student mathematical understanding, including the Pathways Precalculus project and the DIRACC Calculus redesign project involving the use of Mathematics Education Professor Patrick Thompson's text, "Newton Meets Technology," arising from his work with NSF grant funded Project DIRACC: Developing and Investigating a Rigorous Approach to Conceptual Calculus.
