Urban sociologist, has taught courses related to urban studies and planning since 2003 for graduate and postgraduate and doctoral students in regional economics and architecture at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, then at Corvinus University of Budapest and worked as a visiting professor at Indiana University, Bloomington (USA), Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj (Romania), University of Wrocław (Poland). He is an associate professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, currently working as Fulbright scholar at Arizona State University, Tempe (USA). In professional life, he has served as vice president of the Hungarian Society for Urban Planning since 2015. He has participated in numerous research activities and expert activites on Hungarian and European Union levels. His fields of interest include suburbanisation, metropolitan areas, transformation of urban fabric, gentrification, effects of globalisation, and urban planning, focusing on Central Europe.
