Dr. Alex Ma is an associate professor at The Sidney Poitier New American Film School and a scholar-practitioner in entertainment management and innovation, with more than a decade of experience in film and media. His professional journey encompasses roles as a creative executive and producer at Warner Bros. He currently holds the position of adjunct associate professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and has served on the faculty of various esteemed research universities. Ma received his Master of Fine Arts in Film from the Creative Producing Program at Columbia University and is also an alumnus of Peking University and the Beijing Film Academy.
