Yasha Spriha is an Assistant Professor at the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University.
Her research examines how employees influence decision making at work by speaking up with ideas, concerns, and suggestions. She focuses on finding ways in which managers and organizations can seek and implement employee inputs and make more effective decisions.
Her work also highlights the unique strengths and competencies that employees who come from lower socio-economic backgrounds bring to professional workspaces. She explores ways in which organizations can better integrate and motivate such employees and benefit from their experiences. Yasha studies ways in which employees navigate workplace power and status hierarchies.
