Professor Sturgess is an Assistant Teaching Professor for Barrett, the Honors College. Sturgess is a philosopher of communication whose expertise includes hermeneutics, phenomenology, and existentialism as it relates to communication and communicative ethics.
Sturgess also has extensive experience assisting students in achieving financial literacy, attaining personal and professional goals, and finding living wage employment. She teaches courses on happiness, leadership, and career success.
