Asmita Saha, PhD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Counseling and Counseling Psychology at Arizona State University. In her role, she teaches clinically-focused courses. Dr. Saha earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Auburn University in 2025 and completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of Texas at Austin. Her clinical experience spans college counseling centers, community mental health clinics, and private practice. She is particularly interested in supporting immigrants and international students, exploring topics such as acculturation, racial and ethnic socialization, and psychological well-being. Dr. Saha’s research complements her clinical work by investigating how sociocultural factors shape mental health and adjustment in diverse populations.
