Jin Wang is a tenure-track assistant professor at Arizona State University since Fall 2025. Before joining ASU, he spent more than four years as a Research Scientist in Megagon Labs. He obtained the Ph.D. degree from Computer Science Department, University of California, Los Angeles in July 2020 under the supervision of Professor Carlo Zaniolo. He obtained the Master degree from Tsinghua Univeristy in 2015 and the Bachelor degree from Univeristy of Science and Technology Beijing in 2011, respectively.
Note: I am hiring new PhD students starting in Fall 2026! In addition to database, students with background of data mining, machine learning and natural language processing background are also welcomed.
