Michael Kroelinger is an Emeritus Professor with The Design School at Arizona State University's Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts. He was the executive dean of the Herberger Institute, when it was newly created and held other administrative positions including Director of the interdisciplinary PhD program. He has lectured extensively on various aspects of the built environment and has conducted research projects that evaluate how buildings perform and how they should be designed. He maintains relationships with universities throughout the world and is a frequent lecturer on architectural lighting and daylighting.
